Also called Lisa. I am a designer, and passionate about every creative I start, professional & personal.
After completing a Degree in Graphic Design for Print Media with a focus on Visual Communication and advertising, followed by a Bachelor's degree in 360 Digital Project Management (Digital Marketing and Web Design), I went on to earn a Master's degree in Art Direction, specializing in UX/UI Design. After finishing my studies, I continued freelancing under Liso, and am currently a Midweight designer at DEPT.
I'm a team player. I used to work and learn by myself during my school years. Didn't know I've been craving for a team until I got one! Now I know what it takes to work alongside people that each brings something to the table. And mostly, how valuable it is to learn and create amongst a variety of human beings !
This career path has allowed me to develop a versatile profile, comfortable with both digital and print, on a wide variety of assets & content. Managing and leading jobs from A to Z while assuring quality and rapidity is no secret to me now.
What i do best :
→ 360° graphic design, illustration, motion design, video editing, social media visual identity : ready to use !
I also have a solid grasp of the basics of marketing and digital communication, it enables me to develop robust, creative, and coherent projects, to create traction and boost your KPIs.
My small and humble background in UX/UI has opened my eyes to the importance of empathy in design: my sensitivity has become a real asset in the creative process.
Today, I always design with the user in mind — avoiding any malicious or non-inclusive approaches. ₊˚౨ৎ˚
No chaos in my files, except for the exploring-phase, and no randomness in my choices. Every step is carefully thought out, every element has its place. Since collaborating means sharing, I make sure every file I work with is in the state I'd like to open when jumping on a job. Rigorous? Indeed! But it is only to let creativity shine through.
Every project starts with an idea... but never at random. I like to understand what I'm doing, why I'm doing it, and for whom. Observing, listening, questioning: that's the starting point for everything I create. Thinking before acting is one my rules, even more in design. Making graphic design without thinking is like building foundations without planning it beforehand. Better be careful!
I design for humans. Ones with needs, emotions, realities. My goal is to create something useful, fair, and inclusive. When creating for a wide audience on an account, I try to pay extra attention to legibility, accessibility, photo or audio-sensitivity. Even though my first creative instinct is to make loud and vibrant creatives, I know how to tone it down and adapt to different target audiences.
Beauty is not a bonus. It is what gives strength to the idea, makes the user tick and click. Looks are important! I monitor every detail, making pixel-perfect creatives so that form and content complement each other and sticks in user's minds. It's not about my personal taste, it's about what will speak to the wide variety of users. Since "Tastes and preferences are not up for debate", we have a lot of work to convince a lot of people!
